    Wind Turbine - Louis A. McAuley 1976

    Enerpower are delighted to announce that we have been contracted by Louis A. McAuley 1976 (animal feed & animal supplements supply) to supply, build and maintain a Vestas V44 500Kw Wind Turbine on their land in Navan, Co. Meath. Work will commence in April 2014. The wind turbine has a hub height of 45 meters and a blade diameter of 44 meters. The wind turbine has a payback period of approximately 6 years.

    Enerpower Contracted to Supply, Install & Commission Biomass Boiler for Tesco Wicklow

    Enerpower has been contracted to supply, install and commission a 160kWh biomass bolier for Tesco in Wicklow. Tesco will make the switch from oil to biomass with the aim of reducing costs, increasing profitability and minimising their environmental impact.

    Biomass Boiler for Camphill, Ballymoney Co. Wexford

    The Camphill Community is a charitable trust that works with children and people who have intellectual disabilities and other kinds of special needs. Between 80 and 100 people live in a traditional farmhouse and modern purpose-built accodation . There are classrooms, offices, cathering facilities and much more.

    Camphill communities are paricularly concerened about the environmental as well as the social impact of their work. From this we are delighted to announce that Camphill have contracted Enerpower to install a Biomass Boiler in Ballymoney Co. Wexford.

    Enerpower’s Biomass systems are environmentally friendly because they use this renewable resource rather than fossil fuels. They are carbon neutral and do not contribute to global warming.  Camphill are also aware of the considerable savings in annual fuel bills can be realised as biofuels are significantly cheaper than fossil fuels.

    Enerpower Nominated for "Best Use of Renewable Energy Source Award 2013" by Sustainable Ireland

    Enerpower have been nominated for the “Best Use of Renewable Energy Source Award 2013” by Sustainable Ireland. Enerpower installed a Woodchip Boiler in Thurles Swimming Pool & Leisure Centre. We provided a complete turnkey solution for Thurles Leisure Centre.

    550kW Gilles wood chip boiler was installed to replace two existing LPG boilers. 100% of the facilities hot water and space heating is now provided by renewable energy.  As biomass is considered carbon neutral, 390 tonnes of carbon emissions will be saved annually. As woodchip is significantly cheaper than LPG or oil, the move to biomass will reduce the pool’s annual heating costs by more than 50%.Swimming pools and leisure centres offer an excellent opportunity for biomass because of the large and relatively steady heat loads.
